The Lost City (Part 3)

So the training started, we began by walking through a series of old hallways and that is when I actually realise how big the castle was, I couldn't even imagine how powerful of a kingdom all this was. It took ages until we reach what seems to be the backyard.

The backyard was very swampy and unlucky for me, it started to rain, it had a stone wall around it, which surprisingly still stands, vines have grown everywhere, moss has covered, pretty much what was a stone pathway. A few feet ahead lay some sort of target for archery, it wasn't a full circle anymore, it was a semi archery target. I hoped to not do archery, I quite had enough experience that I wasn't good in it, and luckily, he grabbed an old wooden stick. He gave it to me and told me to throw the stick into the middle. The stick touched my fleshy hand and I felt power from my hands coming out. I aimed the stick at the centre point and threw. The stick missed completely, and it flew straight through the stone wall, it created a hole. William was amazed, I told William I didn't know how I did it but he just keeps on saying: "That is what every champion says!"
Then, he gave me another stick and told me to jab it has hard as possible into the stone pathway. I did my best, I used all my strength that I had and jabbed the whole stick into the ground, literally, not 1 millimetre of the stick is sticking out, it was totally amazing, both for me and for William. William shook his head and asked: "Looks like you aren't a good archer but you quite have made my day with what you did there and there," He pointed at the hole in the wall and the stick in the earth's outer soil, "You have a lot of potential in power, let me tell you that I have to take a little more tests to decide if you are good enough to fight with me in assistance against that bad old wizard."
William brought me to an arena right next to the enormous castle, when we walked through the castle, the panthers were all under something, some were under a staircase, others under tables and shelves, I guessed they are used to not get wet.

When we did arrived, I saw how big the arena was, it was bigger than the castle, it had more holes than the castle, the castle is just rotting up in the same style the castle was rotting, vines growing, moss spreading, it looks like the whole city or even kingdom has been infected by some kind of plant virus. What am I supposed to do there anyways. William seemed to have read my mind, because suddenly he said: "I still am a wizard you know? I can still do spells but only the ones I remember, and one of them will spawn a dragon. It sounds intimidating but it isn't, you are going to fight it."
"But what happens if the dragon kills me?", I asked, I was very scared indeed, I don't want to die in a  training.
"Well make sure you don't die, I will give you some armour by the way, so don't be nervous.", William answered. He led me downstairs and there, I saw a cupboard full of armoury. They were all in good stand, probably because of the cupboard. William grabbed one and gave it to me, I took it and pulled it on, in the meanwhile, William went outside and I heard him talk in a weird language, when I was done with putting on my armour, I grabbed a sword out of the armoury and went upstairs to the arena itself. I saw William in the far distance and ran up to him, I almost tripped over some rocks and stones. When I did manage to run to him, He told me to go into the arena while he watches from the tribune.

As time has passed, the raining has stopped and I was terrified, William said some magical words and there it was, the beast I had to fight, a massive, 10 metres tall dragon, it had armour on and lots of smoke came out of his nostrils. It stood on it's hind legs and like a T-Rex with wings, he stood in front of me. I didn't have a shield with me and I decided to just hope for the best and just block any attacks with my sword. The dragon looked down at me and breath fire. The flames were deadly. I almost died just from the first attack. I was quite sure I had some skin burned from that, I was angry at the dragon when I saw that me sword was in fire, I was so extremely mad at that animal, that I threw my sword, aiming at the heart without thinking, I missed my target but it did hit it's neck and the iron sword poked right through it's neck. The dragon stopped moving, smoke stopped coming out of it's nostrils and it's eyes fell shut. It was dead, it still stood there like a statue but it was dead. I heard William saying: "WOW!!!"
