A Jolly Snowman
So, there was a jolly snowman, it was made by a group of children that played in the snow and worked together to stack 3 huge snowballs on top of each other from big to small, they got some help from their parents for stacking the snowballs up and some of the children even grabbed some raisins and others gathered 2 long and strong sticks. One of the parents even brought back a scarf for the snowman. The snowman stands there, right next to lots of different snowmen in the park where lots of children had played. The other snowmen where a little simpler, some had no face, others no hands and others only had a scarf on that was soon blown away by the frosty wind that blew south everyday. After the day has ended, the children started packing their bags and one by one, the families leaved the place.
The next morning, one of the children came walking by to see if her snowman is still standing strong and tall. She was Susan and she lived in a small town next to this snowy park, she helped make the jolly snowman, together with her friends in the neighbourhood. When she was looking for the snowman, she only saw other snowmen that weren't her's which have melted and some of them even became a puddle on the floor. The temperature was stagnating and slowly, Susan felt that the snowman has already fully melted into the ground. She was about to leave for home when she heard some bushes rustle, she looked around and out of the dark shadowy bushes, she saw her friend, Joey. "Hi there, Joey, have you seen our snowman that we have built yesterday?", asked Susan.
"No, I haven't seen it the whole morning, I have been looking for it for almost half an hour and-", Joey couldn't finish her sentence because Susan wasn't listening, she saw something behind her and she was gazing at the bushes behind her. Joey looked around and laughed as well, they saw their snowman again, and not as a puddle or as a no-brainer but still in one piece. They asked themselves how they couldn't have seen the snowman when they walked passed that exact place, it seemed magical and very odd. "This couldn't happen in a real world right? Walking snowmen?", Susan thought.
"Susan, do you think this is a little strange? Did that snowman walk?", asked Joey, scratching her head.
"I don't think so," answered Susan, "walking snowmen don't exist."
Right at that moment, the moment Susan said the word exist, the snowman cried: "I do exist, I am real, not fake!"
This made both Susan and Joey jump, they weren't expecting that to happen. Susan stepped up to the snowman and said: "Umm... Mister snowman? Are you alive?"
"Yes off course I am alive!", the snowman answered.
Susan and Joey were full of imagination and weren't that afraid of the walking talking snowman. The snowman wasn't evil and didn't look evil at all, at least that was what they have seen. They played hide and seek together with the snowman until it was in the evening. Susan and Joey went home and left the snowman there, their parents tucked them in their beds and snuggled they slept, dreaming about what would happen if their parents saw it too.
